I am running for District 55 Assembly because I'm the best person for the job. Madison needs experienced principled legislators who are dedicated to making wise, ethical decisions to ensure the district, Wisconsin, and the country's needs are first and foremost.

 

With my experience in the legislature, I have established strong relationships with both Republicans and Democrats, Assembly Members and Senators, freshmen and leadership, agencies and staff. Serving on the Joint Finance Committee has given me an inside understanding of the finer points of the budget process. Effective committee chairmanship is essential to giving citizens their voice in lawmaking, and the committee I chair is one of the best.

 

My constituents deserve to be represented by someone like me who has the experience to get things done while maintaining integrity, fairness, and honesty. I have the track record to prove I am committed to coming back to the issues that matter to the folks in my district and refuse to betray our principles, our constituents, and our Constitution.
